Our Accountability

The mission of The Nave is to support, celebrate and strengthen community by connecting people and ideas. Our mission is at the forefront of everything we do. But how do we know we’re accomplishing our mission? How do we know we are creating a space that builds a sense of community, encourages innovation, and embraces and celebrates local history and culture?

Reflecting on our work is a good first step. Taking a step back and considering the big picture of everything we’re doing at The Nave, who is impacted by that work, and how we are reaching them is an important step in evaluating the initiative. It’s important to us that we’re accountable to our neighbors, our funders, and to our broader organization at Cook Inlet Housing Authority. And it’s important to us that we continue to build and grow this initiative sustainably.

The Year in Review report is a mechanism for this reflection and an opportunity to thank all those who were involved or contributed in some way towards helping us make this a place for community, culture, and art.
